Proclamation congratulating the 2nd Annual Community Impact Awardees.

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce is holding the “2nd Annual Community Impact Award” celebration on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriot in Coraopolis, Pa; and
WHEREAS, for the second year, this event will celebrate and recognize individuals and businesses that have had a positive impact on the Airport Area communities; and
WHEREAS, the awards are separated into three categories: Adult (older than high school graduate), Youth (still in school), and Business. The 34 municipalities in the airport area were invited to submit nominations to a qualified panel of judges, unaffiliated with any of the municipalities, who carefully selected the winners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Allegheny County Council Member Tom Baker, do hereby recognize and congratulate the following “2nd Annual Community Impact Awardees:” Charlie Budavich, owner of Diane Cleaners, Joanne Letcher, Executive Director of Carnegie Community Development Corporation, Jeff Lutz, North Fayette Township Resident and Partner at Lutz Contracting, Pennsylvania State Representative Mark Mustio, and Connor & Austin Ryan, Seniors at Moon Area High School. We congratulate each “2nd Annual Community Impact Awardee” and thank them for their dedication to making a positive effect on the communities in the airport region.
