This Certificate of Achievement is presented to Thomas John Rechtorik of Boy Scout Troop 338 in recognition of his leadership abilities and meeting the necessary requirements to advance to the rank of Eagle Scout. This council commends Thomas for organizing 266 volunteer hours and raising $1,500 to benefit the Birmingham Cemetery in Carrick, Pa. With the assistance of 31 volunteers, Thomas constructed a Civil War memorial at the cemetery for his eagle scout project. This Council applauds his outstanding dedication to serve his community and neighbors. Thomas serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
