This Certificate is presented to Theresa Zeiler, Board Member and Founding Member of Black Hawk Family Relief Fund (BHFRF), in recognition of her actions following the June 20, 2018 flooding in Bethel Park. As Board Member of the BHFRF, Ms. Zeiler mobilized humanitarian relief and collected donations to benefit Bethel Park families affected by the catastrophic flooding. The Fund oversaw the formation of clean-up teams, collection and distribution of cleaning supplies, distribution of immediate aid in the form of gift cards, coordination of meal and laundry services, and the collection of over $55,000 in donations from the community. Representatives from the Fund also met regularly with members of Bethel Park’s Municipal Leadership and First Responders to coordinate assistance. This Council applauds Theresa Zeiler for her outstanding dedication and personal sacrifice to serve her community, and she truly serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
