Proclamation congratulating the Bon-Ami Temple No. 49 of the Daughters of Elks upon their 107th Anniversary.

     WHEREAS, many communities are blessed with individuals and organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life through many endeavors. The Improved Benevolent, Protective Order of the Elks of the World, known as Elkdom, founded in 1898, is a fraternal group adding a Women’s Auxiliary to help with impactful activities since 1902; and

 

     WHEREAS, the Bon-Ami Temple No. 49 of the Daughters of Elks will be celebrating their 107th Anniversary this year on April 6, 2019. During their 107th Anniversary celebration, the Daughters of the Elks will recognize and honor outstanding members for their accomplishments and continued dedicated service to Elkdom:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Council Member DeWitt Walton, do hereby congratulate and join in celebration with Bon-Ami Temple No. 49 of the Daughters of Elks, as it celebrates 107 years of continued dedication to improving the life of others through many endeavors, and we offer them best wishes for continued success in the years to come.
