Proclamation congratulating Conco Services Corporation for being named the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Region and Western Pennsylvania Exporter of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

WHEREAS, Conco Services Corporation, long recognized throughout the power industry for quality cleaning of condenser and heat exchanger tubes, has been named the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Region and Western Pennsylvania Exporter of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration; and
WHEREAS, for the past 56 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration has awarded the Exporter of the Year Award to small business owners who have increased sales, profits and/or growth of employment as a result of creative overseas marketing strategies, effective solutions to export-related problems, demonstrated encouragement of other small businesses to export, voluntary assistance to other small businesses entering the export market, cooperation with other firms in the creation of export trading companies and/or introduction of unique trading relationships, products or services; and
WHEREAS, founded in 1923, Conco Services Corporation is the world's leading provider of condenser and heat exchanger services with offices located in the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific; and
WHEREAS, Conco Services Corporation’s largest export markets are Japan, Canada, Australia and France, and the company has distributors and agents in over 20 countries, including subsidiaries in Belgium, Germany and Australia;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Allegheny County Council Member Nicholas Futules, do hereby commend and congratulate Conco Services Corporation for being named the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Region and Western Pennsylvania Exporter of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and on behalf of Allegheny County Council, I thank Conco Services Corporation for their extraordinary efforts in increasing export growth and in helping other businesses to sell U.S....
