Allegheny County Council is pleased to present this Certificate of Recognition to the Borough of Pleasant Hills for uniting citizens, hosting businesses, and promoting community spirit during its annual Community Day celebration on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Mowry Park. The family friendly event will commence with a parade, followed by a presentation of colors by the American Legion Post 712, and the National Anthem performed by the Thomas Jefferson High School Band. The event will feature a wide variety of vendors and entertainment including dance, cheerleading, martial arts, and musical performances, and will conclude with a fireworks display. This Council recognizes the 2019 Pleasant Hills Community Day Committee for its efforts to unite the community and celebrates the borough and its citizens.
