Allegheny County Council is pleased to present this Certificate to Christian Polk of Boy Scout Troop 238 in recognition of having met all necessary requirements to advance to the rank of Eagle Scout. This council commends Mr. Polk for leading a service project in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Hazelwood in collaboration with The Mission Continues’ Hazelwood Service Platoon. In order to help combat food insecurity in Hazelwood, Mr. Polk built several boxes that were placed in various spots in the neighborhood to provide food for anyone that needs it. Mr. Polk serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.
