Proclamation recognizing Attorney Keith Donnelly upon his retirement.

WHEREAS, “You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.” That quote from English writer John Bunyan personifies the talented attorneys that Allegheny County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have been fortunate to have contribute invaluably to our communities; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Keith Donnelly, a Pittsburgh native, graduated in 1974 from Duquesne University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree; and
WHEREAS, over the past 45 years of practicing law, Attorney Donnelly has made impressive strides as an Assistant Public Defender in the Allegheny County Public Defender office; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Donnelly, passionate about practicing law, has devoted his professional career to the Juvenile, Pre-Trial and Trial division in the Allegheny County Public Defender office; and
WHEREAS, Attorney Donnelly has displayed unwavering dedication to his clients and enhancing the practice of law throughout Allegheny County and Pennsylvania;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Allegheny County Council Member Paul Zavarella, do hereby congratulate and thank Attorney Keith Donnelly for 45 years of service and dedication as an Assistant Public Defender, and I wish him continued success in his retirement.
