After a lengthy review process, only four percent of Boy Scouts are granted the Eagle Scout rank, which requires earning at least 21 merit badges. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages; and

With the help of volunteers, Matt constructed three picnic benches and a free little library that will be utilized by individuals in the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I, Allegheny Council Member Bob Macey, do hereby commend and recognize Matt Lutz upon receiving the Eagle Scout Award, and we congratulate him for dedicating time, leadership, creativity and effort to making his community better.
