Motion of the Council of Allegheny County approving a cost of living adjustment (COLA) for Council staff members.

Whereas, pursuant to Article I, §E.1.i., the Executive Committee is “charged with making recommendations and approving actions regarding personnel matters.”; and
Whereas, on January 17, 2024, the Council’s Executive Committee met to discuss compensation of staff employed within the Office of County Council; and
Whereas, at this meeting, the Executive Committee voted to recommend a 4% cost of living adjustment for all Council staff members for calendar year 2024;
The Council of the County of Allegheny therefore hereby moves as follows:
Council hereby approves a 4% cost of living adjustment to all Council staff members, retroactive to January 1, 2024.
