Allegheny County Council
At the Regular Meeting of Allegheny County Council held on May 4, 2004, Council passed by a 13-1 margin (Council Member Shumaker voting no) the attached Motion (Bill No. 1557-04) supporting House Bill 1350, “Nan’s Law,” which would amend the Pennsylvania Innkeepers’ Rights Act to provide that an innkeeper require job applicants to undergo a check of criminal history record information if that individual would have access to guest room keys if employed.
