Dear Committee Members,

 

At the Regular Meeting of Allegheny County Council held on September 7, 2004, Council passed the attached Resolution No. 22-04-RE entitled, “A Resolution of the County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, urging the Chair and Members of the Senate’s State Government Committee to consider and report from committee House Bill 1859, Printer’s Number 4104; and, further, urging the State Senate to consider and approve said bill to establish an Office for People with Disabilities within the Governor’s Office to advise and assist the Office of the Governor and the General Assembly in developing policies addressing the concerns of adults and children with disabilities and their families and guardians.”

 

The Resolution was signed by the Chief Executive on September 8, 2004.
