At the Regular Meeting of Allegheny County Council held on December 20, 2005, Council passed by a vote of 10-4-1 the attached Motion, sponsored by Council Member Joan Cleary, Expressing the Sense of Council of Allegheny County supporting the efforts of United States Representative Michael Doyle to preserve Medicaid benefits for Americans through House Bill 4223, the "Medicaid Preservation Act of 2005."

 

Council Members Cleary, DeFazio, Fawcett, Frazier, Jabbour, Martoni, Nerone, Robinson, Watt, and Fitzgerald voted yes; Council Members Francis, Gastgeb, Price, and Rea voted no; and Council Member Kress abstained.
