This Certificate of Achievement is awarded to Mr. Jeremy DeLuca and the Mt. Lebanon Percussion Program in recognition of earning the 2015 Scott E. Folmer Memorial Student, Teacher and Exemplary Practice or Partnering (STEPP) District/Partnering Award presented by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) Local Task Force on the Right to Education. This award recognizes a school, a school based program or school district that has developed an exemplary practice to support the education of children receiving special education services or fostered the partnering of students, parents and professional staff to benefit students receiving special education services. Mr. DeLuca is an Assistant Director with the Mt. Lebanon Percussion Program, part of the award-winning Mount Lebanon School District Fine Arts Department. He was nominated for the award by Ms. Lisa Silverman, a parent with a special needs child in the Mt. Lebanon School District. Mr. DeLuca has created an inclusive percussion program, with positive academic and social outcomes for all the children involved. This Council congratulates Mr. Jeremy DeLuca and the Mt. Lebanon Percussion Program for earning the 2015 STEPP District/Partnering Award. Mr. DeLuca serves as an inspiration to this Council and to the citizens of Allegheny County.

Folmer Memorial Student, Teacher and Exemplary Practice or Partnering (STEPP) Staff Award presented by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) Local Task Force on the Right to Education.
